The Member of Parliament for Techiman South Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah has denied endorsing any individual to be the chairman in the Bono East region for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) going into the next regional elections.

His comment comes after a video circulating on social media indicating that the MP for Techiman South constituency has endorsed Ibrahim Bukari Baba A.K.A Chairman IB who is contesting Bono East Regional Chairmanship.

“My attention has been drawn to a circulating on social media claiming that I, Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah, has endorsed ‘Chairman IB to be the next chairman for the party in the region.’ I wish to state emphatically that I have not endorsed anyone as the chairman of the New Patriotic Party in the region,” he said in a rejoinder.

The MP who double as a Deputy Minister for Local Government, in an interview with Radio Link on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, stated that he only acknowledge Chairman IB and his crew at a program where he was asked to deliver a speech, and “that doesn’t mean I have endorsed Chairman IB and cannot endorse one person because I am a father to all contesting, and as a father, I cannot love one son more than the other.”

“I love everybody and I’m ready to work with whoever is voted for as the Chairman of the party in the region,” he stated.

The Member of Parliament also apologized to all persons who in one way or the other have been affected by the said video and asked them for their forgiveness.
