Some Branch Executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for Techiman South Constituency led by Kwadwo Adjei popularly known as ‘Kwadwo Cocaine’ is advising the Party Executives of the party to drop its court case against the Member of Parliament for Techiman South Constituency, Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah at the Wenchi High Court and rather focus on the internal wrangling that caused the party’s defeat in the 2020 general election.
According to him, he followed the 2020 electioneer process from the registration to the election itself and from his personal account, the court issue will not do the party any good but rather cause more harm to the party since the party has its own issues, hence his call to drop the court case.
“There are issues among executives in the party and until that problem (s) is resolved the party will continue to suffer even in 2024 election here in Techiman South”.
In his opinion, the issue among the party’s own executives caused them defeat in 2020 and will advise they focus on bringing peace and unity in the party.
“The internal problem is very big, so we want the leadership to look back at the toil of branch executives like us which even led to the defeat and concentrate on the internal issues to get resolved so that we can secure victory.”
In an interview with Agya Wusu on Link Agoo AM Show, Kwadwo Adjei called on the national and regional executives to persuade the 2020 Parliamentary Candidate, Christopher Beyere Baasongti, to “forget” about the case so that he can concentrate on the next elections.
