The Member of Parliament for Techiman South Constituency Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah on Friday May 14, 2021 donated a cash of Ghc10,000 to a retired teacher and a mother, and a little boy with ill-health conditions in the Techiman Municipality.
The retired Teacher and a mother had her first surgery in 2012 whiles the little boy has also been battling with an ill-health condition from birth.
The MP, made the donation after being notified about the ill-conditions of the two.
Presenting the cash donation, the Techiman South legislator urged the public to keep the two persons in their prayers to ensure they return to full fitness.
“They need our support, not only in cash but in prayers. I will urge all to keep praying for them to ensure they regain their health” he noted.
The two beneficiaries were overwhelmed by the kind gesture from the Techiman South Member of Parliament and expressed their heartfelt appreciations.
In a related development, the Techiman South Member of Parliament also presented cash and food items to over thousand Muslims in his constituency as part of the Eid celebrations.
The items which included bags of rice, oil, sugar were presented to the people in their respective communities and electoral areas.
Presenting the items, Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah posited that, he has a special relationship with the Muslim community long before he was elected as the MP.
“The people you see here are my siblings, fathers and mothers. I have been part of this family long before winning this seat and giving back to them on such occasion is a delight” he noted.
According to him, a lot is being planned for the Zongo communities under his leadership and soon these plans will materialized.
Adding that, he was prepared to support to improve the infrastructure, education, health and economic needs of the people in Zongo communities and assured them of his commitment.
