The Techiman North District Chief Executive, Hon. Peter Mensah in the company of the Techiman North District Director of Education and officials of both the Techiman North District Assembly and the Education Directorate today September 14, 2020, visited the Tuobodom Senior High School examination center in the district as the 2020 Basic Education Certificate Examination kick started to have a clear view of how the examination is been conducted and have interactions with both the pupils and their invigilators.

During the visit, the District Chief Executive was informed that the Techiman North District registered one thousand three hundred and thirteen (1,313) pupils for the examination out of which six hundred and fifty four (654) were females and the rest totaling six hundred and fifty nine (659) males.

Interacting with the candidates, the District Chief Executive advised them to take the examination seriously, always keep to their books and eschew and condone all forms of examination malpractices that will hinder their chances of success at the examination. “I entreat you all not to enter the examination hall with any foreign material apart from those approved by the authorities. Always remember to write your index numbers as soon as you receive the answer sheet in all the examinations since that would enable the examination authorities identify who the candidate is.”

Hon. Mensah further advised the pupils to work hard in the course of writing the examinations to enable them pass the examination well.

Hon Peter Mensah entreated them to put out their best and wished them best of luck.

He also commended both teachers and students for keeping to the COVID-19 protocols and also expressed satisfaction with the peaceful atmosphere the examination has been conducted so far.

On her part, The District Director of Education, Mrs. Theresah Kpebu commended the candidates for their good behaviour and encouraged them to remain focused and study hard to achieve their aim.

She was optimistic the preparation the students went through before the commencement of the examination will yield some positive results after the entire exams.
